High-Efficiency Fluoride Salt for Electrolysis
Anhydrous Aluminum Fluoride is one of the most important fluoride salts in aluminum electrolysis. It adjusts the molecular ratio of the electrolyte during electrolysis. It keeps the cell running stably. Compared to regular aluminum fluoride, Anhydrous Aluminum Fluoride has very low moisture. It contains almost no water of crystallization. At high temperatures, it does not hydrolyze. This reduces fluoride volatilization loss and lowers production costs.
Yunnan Weiwei New Materials Co., Ltd. started in January 2025. We are located in the Bibiao Industrial Park in Yanshan County, Yunnan Province. We produce over 1,000 tons of Anhydrous Aluminum Fluoride per year. We use local fluorine resources to ensure stable supply from raw material to finished product.

Core Applications
Aluminum Electrolysis
This is the main application. Anhydrous Aluminum Fluoride replenishes fluoride ions consumed in the electrolyte. It maintains the proper molecular ratio. It lowers the liquidus temperature of the electrolyte. This reduces energy consumption and improves current efficiency.
Abrasives
It is used as an additive to improve heat resistance and grinding performance.
Glass and Ceramics
It is used to make opal glass and opaque glazes.
Quality Assurance
We apply strict quality control to Anhydrous Aluminum Fluoride. Every batch goes through testing for fluorine content, moisture, and particle size.
We hold an environmental impact report and a pollutant discharge permit. We offer OEM and ODM services. You can customize particle size and packaging. If you report any quality issues within 15 days of delivery, we will respond promptly.
Supply Capacity
Our monthly production is 1,000 tons of aluminum fluoride and 2,000 tons of electrolyte. The minimum order quantity is 3 tons. In July 2025, we supplied 3,500 tons of electrolyte to Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum. We support EXW, FOB, and DDP. Payment terms are negotiable.
